About the author: 

Rafael Rodrigues, 42, was born and raised in Juiz de Fora. He earned a degree in electrical engineering from UFJF and a teaching degree in mathematics from Unopar. He worked as a math teacher for 13 years at various schools in Juiz de Fora and five other cities. He also served as a coordinator and school principal. In 2008, he founded his own school, which in less than two years reached the milestone of more than 1,500 students. In 2011, after selling the school to a large educational chain, he founded Casa da Gráfica, where he currently serves as CEO. Today, the company has more than 150 employees and provides schools, publishers, and educational systems throughout Brazil with a variety of solutions for physical educational materials.
