About the author:
Daniel Martins de Barros is a psychiatrist and adjunct professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the USP School of Medicine. He holds a Ph.D. in Science and a B.A. in Philosophy from USP. In addition to reference books on forensic psychiatry, he has published works such as *A Journey Inside the Brain*, nominated for the 2014 Jabuti Award, *The Case of the Dreaming Girl* (both published by Panda Books), *The Bright Side of the Dark Side*, *Suffering Is Not a Disease* (Sextante Publishing), and *Test Tube*, a finalist for the Jabuti Academic Award (Unicamp Publishing), among others. He runs the “Daniel Martins de Barros” YouTube channel, in addition to writing columns for Band News FM, CNN, and Galileu magazine. His most recent book is the children’s book *Central de Más Notícias*, published by Panda Books.
