There are still spots available for the “Bett UK 2025 Delegation”—an initiative by Bett Brasil that will organize an educational trip to London, United Kingdom, in January 2025—including a technical visit to educational institutions. The program will offer participants a five-day immersive experience, including technical visits to renowned British educational institutions and participation in the 40th-anniversary edition of the Bett Show UK, the world’s leading education and technology event, which will take place from January 22 to 24, 2025.

The guided tour of the Bett Show UK offers exclusive access to the VIP Lounge, as well as numerous opportunities for networking and sharing experiences with educators and school administrators from around the world. One of the highlights is the Table Talks program, a series of roundtable discussions on relevant topics in education. The topics covered this year in Table Talks include Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA), Assessments, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Curriculum, Leadership, Resources, and Sustainability.

Confirmed technical visits

Field trips have been scheduled to the following schools: Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School; St. John XXIII Catholic Primary School; St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School (in Chelsea and Maida Vale); St. Augustine’s Catholic Primary School; St. Thomas More Language College; Wellington Primary School; Lansbury Lawrence Primary School; Cubitt Town Primary School; Grey Coat Hospital; and King’s College.

A special highlight will be the visit to the Open University, the largest distance-learning university in the United Kingdom. Recognized for its commitment to inclusion, the university is open to a diverse range of people, methods, and ideas. Since its founding in 1969, it has graduated more than 2.3 million students, and in 2021–2022, it had 208,308 students enrolled, 51% of whom were part-time. The Open University is also a center of excellence in research, with 144 doctoral degrees awarded in 2021 and 14.6 million pounds in research grants. Its OpenLearn platform received 21.1 million visitors, highlighting its global impact on open and innovative education.

During the visit, the Brazilian delegation will enjoy a fully interactive experience on the Open University campus. Participants will have the opportunity to explore innovative study spaces, laboratories, and studios. The itinerary includes a visit to the Open University Café, where current projects and partnerships will be discussed, covering topics such as Immersive Learning and Extended Reality, STEM, and Open Science. 

Discussions on Artificial Intelligence and Soft Skills are also part of the program, culminating in dialogues on Equity and Digital Innovation, with a focus on showcasing best practices between the United Kingdom and Brazil. The goal is to strengthen the exchange of ideas and encourage new educational collaborations between the two nations.
