The integration of new technologies into education can help improve teaching. That is what EduxGen.AI, a platform developed to support teachers’ work while respecting and valuing the role of educators. Using artificial intelligence, this tool from Edtech Realms IP.TV will be presented to administrators, school operators, and educational leaders in both private and public school systems in the Northeast—a region that stood out in the overall Ideb results released by the federal government earlier this month.

Under the teacher’s guidance, the platform generates educational content—such as lesson plans, slide presentations, videos, and handouts—in just a few minutes. The new feature also allows for the creation of different types of questions, such as essay questions, multiple-choice questions, and sentence and word ordering exercises. EduxGen.AI is integrated with Edtech Motrix’s curriculum intelligence, enabling the generation of content aligned with the BNCC, SAEB, or ENEM.

— We presented the beta version of EduxGen.AI at Bett Brasil in São Paulo this past May, and now we’ll have the opportunity to showcase the updated and improved tool in the Northeast Region, which we’re very honored to do. “And we—technicians and developers—face the challenge of integrating the technology into the reality of the classroom and the teacher’s daily routine,” notes Eduardo Giraldez, president of the IP.TV Group and a speaker at Bett Nordeste.

One of the platform's most helpful features is the ability to create an avatar (animated or human-like) that acts as a virtual assistant trained by the teacher to answer students' questions using natural language.

“It’s important to make it clear that artificial intelligence won’t eliminate jobs, but those who don’t use it as a productivity tool may fall behind. Furthermore, all artificial intelligence actions at EduxGen.AI depend on validation by educators,” says Giraldez.

Research

A study conducted in 2023 by the Carlos Chagas Foundation, Itaú Cultural, and the D³E Association—based on data from the School Census and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)—highlights that "a heavy workload reduces the time teachers have available to prepare lessons that are more engaging for students." It is against this backdrop that Realms IP.TV seeks innovation and support to assist teachers.

Edtech Realms IP.TV has been in the market for over 20 years.
