Bett Brasil is launching a new cycle of its Advisory Board with a proposed composition based on diverse strategic perspectives on education. Beginning with the 2026–2028 term, the council will focus on supporting Bett Brasil in identifying trends, broadening perspectives, and developing a program that is increasingly relevant to the educational community.

This change expands the framework that has historically guided the Council’s composition. Rather than organizing members primarily based on representation of different segments of the education sector, the new structure seeks to bring together complementary perspectives on challenges that cut across the entire educational ecosystem, such as artificial intelligence, digital culture, mental health, inclusion, evidence-based practice, public policy, and changes in the world of work. 

The first meeting of the new Advisory Board was held on Wednesday (the 9th) online, marking the start of the new board’s work.

“The idea is to bring together educators and experts with complementary experiences and knowledge who can broaden our perspective on the challenges facing education, identify trends, and contribute to the discussions that need to be on the Bett agenda,” explains Adriana Martinelli, Director of Content at Bett Brasil.

Advisory Board 2026–2028

The new group consists of 12 professionals, organized by topic, with the aim of addressing the main challenges, trends, and opportunities in contemporary education. They are:

  Mariana Ochs, Education Coordinator at the Palavra Aberta Institute
   
• Neuroscience and Human Development
  Carla Tieppo, neuroscientist, speaker, and entrepreneur
   
• Digital Culture and Media Literacy
  Alexandre Sayad, journalist, writer, and director of ZeitGeist
   
• Security and Digital Citizenship
  Leo Gmeiner, CBO of School Guardian
   
• Educational Transformation and Innovation
  Guilherme Cintra, Director of Innovation and Technology at the Lemann Foundation

• The Future of Work, Careers, and Skills
  Rodrigo Dib, Superintendent of CIEE (Center for Business-School Integration)
   
• Public Policy and Systems Transformation
  Rafael Parente, executive director of the Salto Institute
   
• Futures and Social Innovation
  Lala Deheinzelin, founder of the Crie Futuros movement and Fluxonomia 4D

  Ernesto Martins Faria, director and founder of IEDE (Interdisciplinarity and Evidence in the Educational Debate)

  Rodrigo Bressan, psychiatrist, neuroscientist, and president of the Ame Sua Mente Institute

  Karolyne Ferreira, researcher and consultant on diversity and inclusion

The new Council also includes the roles of Public School Leadership and Private School Leadership, which will operate differently from the other members. These positions will be filled by school leaders serving one-year terms, allowing for the periodic renewal of perspectives from professionals who work directly in school administration.
