Bett Brasil Announces the Finalists for the 2026 EdTech Awards
Bett Brasil announced the six finalist startups for the 2nd edition of the Bett Brasil EdTech Awards, an initiative that recognizes startups with innovative solutions aligned with the key challenges of contemporary education.
As part of the program for Bett Brasil—Latin America’s largest event for innovation and technology in education, taking place May 5–8 at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo—the award reinforces its role as a showcase for initiatives that promote concrete improvements in public and private education, with a special focus on social impact and educational equity.
The selection of the finalists was conducted by a panel of experts in education, innovation, and investment. In this edition, three startups were selected in each of two categories: “Product Solution Fit, ” aimed at early-stage startups; and “Product Market Fit, ” aimed at startups that already have a product on the market and initial customers.
The three finalist startups in each category are:
"Product Solution Fit" Category:
- Techchef (SC): a gamified cooking program aligned with the BNCC.
- EMS Company (TO): AI co-pilot for automating educational lesson plans.
- muda (RS): a pedagogical intelligence platform for instructional planning.
"Product-Market Fit" Category:
- Educaopen (RJ): Open Finance infrastructure for socioeconomic analysis in schools.
- Vínculo® (SP): AI dedicated to the management of special and inclusive education.
- Prol Educa (PE): offers unused spots in high-quality private schools to low-income students.
The finalists’ pitches will take place during Bett Brasil, at the Startups Arena, with five-minute presentations followed by questions from the judges. Startups in the “Product Solution Fit” category will present on May 5 at 3:30 p.m., while those in the “Product Market Fit” category will take the stage on May 6 at the same time.
The winners will be announced on May 7 at 5:00 p.m., also at Arena Startups, with a live stream on YouTube.
The Bett Brasil EdTech Awards are organized by Bett Brasil, with support from the Significare Institute and technical partnership from the Tiradentes Innovation Center (TIC).
Awards
The six finalist startups will receive a range of benefits, including full access to the four-day Bett Brasil conference, exhibition space in the Startup Arena, access to the Bett Conecta platform for matchmaking with companies and investors, a presentation on the Startup Arena stage (a 5-minute pitch), coverage in an exclusive newsletter, trophies, certificates, digital badges, and participation in a networking reception.
The winners in each category will also receive three months of remote mentoring from the Tiradentes Innovation Center, a guaranteed spot at Bett Brasil 2027, and an interview on Bett Brasil’s official channels, thereby increasing the national visibility of the award-winning solutions.
