SiSU (Unified Selection System) is considered the primary gateway to higher education in Brazil. Implemented in 2010 by the Ministry of Education, the system allows students from across the country to use their ENEM scores to apply for spots at public universities participating in the program. 

The creation of SiSU is an important milestone in Brazilian educational policy, as it allows students to apply for spots at universities located far from where they live without having to travel to take a specific entrance exam. Registration for SiSU is free, and applicants may apply for two course options.

For the first semester of 2021, the list of students accepted through the regular admissions round was released on April 16. However, the schools and educational institutions that worked with students to prepare and guide them in their quest to gain admission may have difficulty compiling all the information regarding the results. 

Generally, institutions need to contact these students individually to find out if they have been admitted, or they must go through many lists of the numerous courses on the SiSU website to check the admission results one by one.

The SiSU Acceptance Board tool allows educators to check acceptance status using only their students’ names. With a list of these students, it is possible to perform a single bulk search, which will return a list showing the accepted program, the university, and the placement.

In addition, the tool features a dashboard where you can edit the list of accepted students by removing any individuals with the same name who were not students at the school, and it also allows you to view all results grouped on a dashboard by program, university, or rank.
