Meet the international speakers who will be attending the conference
From May 12 to 15, Bett Educar 2020 invites you to another event at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo. With more than 270 exhibitors, 30 confirmed edtech companies, and an expected turnout of approximately 31,000 participants, the event is a must-attend for everyone in the education sector.
For its 27th edition, an unparalleled lineup of speakers was assembled to provide insight into the thoughts (and actions) of leaders, influencers, funders, and other professionals involved in educational innovation across the country—and from abroad.
Meet some of the international speakers who will take the stage at Bett Educar 2020:
Brooke Judd— International Director of Coaching and Content at Franklin Covey in Michigan, U.S.—has over a decade of experience in educational data systems, training, facilitation, project leadership, curriculum, and technology. She will also share her extensive knowledge of diverse school administration and her deep expertise in education and leadership, which is her great passion.
On the 12th, at 5:30 p.m. - "The Power of Mindset - The Positivity Factor"
Matthew Moore - A computer science teacher at a large elementary school in Bradford, Moore is also involved with the school’s STEM department. In recent years, with the help of social media, he has built a network for sharing classroom experiences with teachers from around the world.
Domingos Guimarães - Fundador, mentor, consultor e investidor de diversas startups. Foi nomeado Digital Champion Português representando o país na Comissão Europeia como expert. Domingos acredita que os negócios sociais podem mudar o paradigma do empreendedorismo e por isso educação tem sido seu foco nos últimos anos. Atualmente, trabalha com o <Code for All_>, projeto que transforma pessoas desempregadas em software developers em 14 semanas, e a ubbu, plataforma que ensina Ciência da Computação em salas de aula para crianças dos 6 aos 12 anos.

Vinicius David - A Silicon Valley executive with over 17 years of experience at multinational corporations, including Fortune 100 companies, he has experience in the general management of medium and large-sized companies in the United States, where he was responsible for billion-dollar operations. After holding leadership positions in product management, operations, and technology services, he is currently a senior director at HP, a platform that brings Industry 4.0 to life and combines hardware, software, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) services.”
On the 13th, at 2:30 p.m. - “How the 4th Industrial Revolution Is Changing the Future of Work and Business”
Bill Bass - President of the Greater St. Louis Educational Technology Association (an ISTE affiliate), this former high school and middle school English teacher is an expert in technology integration who works with teachers as an instructional coach in the Parkway School District in St. Louis, Missouri. Bill is also an adjunct professor of educational technology at Missouri Baptist University, teaching both online and in-person courses. As a speaker, writer, and professional developer, Bill focuses on the systemic and sustainable integration of technology into classrooms at all levels of education. He will deliver his presentation alongside Solange Petrosino, Manager of Educational Services and teacher training specialist at Moderna Publishing, who has over 35 years of experience in the field of education.
