How can we prepare for current and future crises in education? What are regenerative futures? With artificial intelligence, why is it important to focus on the human element? These and other questions are addressed in the first episode of 2025 of the“Brasil Educação” podcast, produced by Educação magazine.

Our guest is Adriana Martinelli, who holds a master’s degree in organizational psychology and serves as the director of content for Bett Brasil, considered the largest event for innovation and technology in education in Latin America.

Adriana points out that education is facing various crises, citing, for example, the mental health crisis and the crisis of “learning by doing”—that is, the need to seek out new models of learning.

In addition, the expert also emphasizes the importance of focusing on people and preparing to use artificial intelligence. “There are so many digital platforms, so much digital content. That’s not what’s missing from education. We really need to start focusing more on people—or help people learn to be human,” she says.

She adds: “To make good use of artificial intelligence, we need to take very good care of the person who is using it. That person needs to be very well prepared for it—in terms of intent, what they want to do, and what is possible.”

Adriana also explains what regenerative futures are: “A regenerative future is one that changes constantly. It’s that constant adaptation we have to make in our lives and behaviors.”
