On September 24 at 6:00 p.m., Bett Brasil will host a live stream to present the Portugal leg of the Bett 2027 Delegation, a new feature of the upcoming edition of the international immersion program in education and innovation. Open to the public, the event will be streamed on the YouTube channels of Bett Brasil and the Brazilian Association of Distance Education (ABED).

Designed specifically for administrators, staff, and leaders in higher education, this event will take place in Lisbon and will feature an exclusive program organized in partnership with ABED. During the live stream, attendees will learn about the program’s objectives, the planned activities, and the unique benefits of participating.

The discussion will also highlight how immersion can benefit professionals interested in keeping up with international trends, learning about other educational models, and expanding their professional network.

Panelists include Marcos Borges, president of Univesp, and Simone Telles, director of Internationalization of Basic Education for the State of São Paulo. Cássio Santos, a member of the ABED board of directors, will moderate the panel. The opening ceremony will also feature Claudia Valério, director general of Bett Brasil, who will present the main highlights of the Bett Delegation.

An immersion in two educational ecosystems

The Bett Delegation is an international program organized by Bett Brasil to bring education professionals together with leading institutions, experts, and initiatives from other countries. The program includes technical visits, institutional meetings, debates, networking, and exposure to solutions tailored to the education sector.

In 2027, the initiative will feature two tracks. The first will take place from January 13 to 22, with activities in Lisbon and London, and will focus on leaders in higher education . In the Portuguese capital, participants will visit educational institutions and attend discussions on challenges, trends, and opportunities for the sector.

The group will then travel to London, where it will participate in the second track of the Bett Delegation’s program, which includes technical visits to British educational institutions, events with global companies, networking opportunities, and participation in Bett UK, the world’s largest education and innovation event. The second track will take place from January 18 to 22, exclusively in London, bringing together professionals from K-12 and higher education, government representatives, experts, and industry leaders.
