Next Tuesday, May 28, Sieeesp —the Union of Educational Institutions in the State of São Paulo—will kick off its Lecture Series, which will periodically bring together educators, experts, and professionals to discuss key issues related to education.

Cláudia Costin (educator, professor at FGV, and president of the Singularidades Institute) will be present at this first meeting. Together with José Antonio Figueiredo Antiório, president of Sieeesp, she will discuss issues related to education and inclusion: “Inclusion, Rights, and Duties.”

Marco Rossi (who holds a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from MIT, Stanford University, and the University of Helsinki, and a specialization in Educational Quality and Cognitive Neuroscience from the Harvard Graduate School of Education) is another confirmed speaker, who will address the topic “Artificial Intelligence: Concepts and Pathways.”

And to discuss “BNCC and the New High School Curriculum,” Esther Carvalho will be in attendance (Ph.D. candidate in Intelligence Technologies and Digital Design; Master’s degree in Curriculum and New Technologies in Education from PUC-SP; specialist in Interactive Technologies Applied to Education; bachelor’s degree in Education; and general director of Colégio Rio Branco).

The program is rounded out by Mara Ramos (a civil and environmental engineer with a specialization in Environmental Management, a master’s degree in Water Resources Management, and an MBA in Environmental Sanitation; she is the superintendent of DAEE—the São Paulo Department of Water and Electric Power)— “Water Management in the State of São Paulo.”
