As the largest event for Innovation and Technology in Education in Latin America, Bett Brasil holds the Managers’ Forum annually as part of its main event; this forum is recognized as one of the key activities for discussing educational management. Starting in 2023, the Bett Brasil Managers’ Forum will adopt a new format with the creation of a committee to support a permanent community for educational managers.

With this new model, the Community for Administrators aims to bring together private schools and institutions from across Brazil to discuss key issues related to educational administration, with a focus on basic education.

“The Administrators’ Forum is expanding its scope and, in addition to the traditional event held in a dedicated auditorium during Bett Brasil, is now establishing itself as a permanent initiative—a continuous, participatory, and collaborative community—that will present proposals, case studies, and initiatives actively implemented by administrators from private school networks and schools to discuss the specific challenges and trends in K-12 education, thereby amplifying the voices of administrators, encouraging the generation of innovative ideas and actions, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes the development of new solutions for educational management,” explains Adriana Martinelli, Director of Content at Bett Brasil.

Later in 2023, the Bett Brasil Managers’ Forum community will hold its first committee meeting during the Bett Meeting on October 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., online. Cláudio Brunoro, founder of Instituto Trabalhar, creator of the Jornada dos Inquietos, and professor at Fundação Dom Cabral, will kick off the discussions with the topic “Community of Practice—Challenges and Dilemmas of Management in the Educational World.”

During the 29th edition of Bett Brasil, to be held April 23–26, 2024, at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, the Managers’ Forum—a strategic venue—will feature panel discussions and lectures focused on industry topics for school administrators, coordinators, and school operators, fostering ongoing dialogue with the community of educational leaders.

The Community of Administrators will operate on an ongoing basis. Initially, the committee will have ten voting members, who will be replaced each year. “This ensures that more administrators and leaders are heard, brings in diverse perspectives from the community, and broadens the geographic and demographic representation of its participants, schools, school systems, and educational institutions, regardless of their size,” says Martinelli.
