Registration is now open to join the Brazilian delegation at the Bett Show UK; find out how to participate
In March, the city of London, in the United Kingdom, will become the world capital of education and technology with the Bett Show UK, a global event taking place at Excel London from the 29th to the 31st. Over the course of three days, the British edition of Bett will bring together educators and more than 600 global technology companies, renowned educational brands, and startups offering solutions for all educational scenarios and challenges.
As has become tradition, Bett Brasil will be represented at the London event by a Brazilian delegation composed of educators, school administrators, and experts in the education sector. The delegation’s special itinerary will include technical visits to British educational institutions, a guided tour of the Bett Show, and access to the VIP area, as well as networking opportunities with delegation members and support from the Bett Brasil team.
Adriana Martinelli, content director at Bett Brasil, explains that the country’s delegation this year is expected to be larger than last year’s and that, in addition to participating in the three-day Bett Show UK, technical visits are planned to higher education and K-12 (elementary and secondary) institutions, such as King’s College, the Open University, and Ashcroft Technology Academy.
“The highlight for those participating in this delegation is the opportunity to network and make new contacts. Not to mention, of course, learning about the latest developments and building connections with companies, educators, and professionals in the education sector. This year, the delegation is expected to include about 100 people,” says Adriana.
Bett Brasil will also hold an open session in the GlobalShowcase auditorium, featuring Brazilian dignitaries who will discuss key issues in the education sector. Registration to join the Brazilian delegation at the Bett Show is open through March 3 and can be completed HERE.
Bett Show UK
As the global brand for Bett events, the Bett Show’s content program will feature leading figures from the education sector on its panel discussions, which this year will focus on the theme: “How can we reconnect the education ecosystem, reimagine the potential of technology in education, and renew our commitment to equitable learning for all?”
Among the featured speakers on the event’s main stage will be Anne-Marie Imafidon, founder of the social enterprise Stemettes, which encourages girls and young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM); Darcey Bussell, a world-renowned ballerina and founder of the charity Diverse Dance Mix for Schools, a dance fitness program whose primary goal is to incorporate dance into expanded physical education in British schools; Michael Rosen, a writer and poet for children and adults and a professor of children’s literature at Goldsmiths (University of London); Steven Bartlett, an entrepreneur, content creator, panelist on the BBC television show “Dragons’ Den,” and creator of the popular podcast “Diary of a CEO.”
One of the most eagerly anticipated new features at the Bett Show UK is the Connect @ Bett networking and business program, which aims to facilitate quick, one-on-one, personalized meetings to effectively connect providers of educational solutions with buyers from educational institutions in an environment conducive to starting conversations.
Bett’s global director, Rachel Brodie, describes Connect @ Bett as an important milestone for the event: “We will empower our community of solution providers, educational institutions, and governments to meet new people, discover new organizations, and create incredible opportunities through meaningful conversations at our events. This new meeting program will lead to positive changes for them, their organizations, and their students,” Rachel said. The organization expects to receive more than 2,000 registrations with meeting requests.
The initiative will also be replicated in Brazil at the next edition of Bett Brasil, which will take place May 9–12 at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo, following the same British model with 15-minute focused meetings. The program aims to empower educational buyers to discover the right solutions for their students and enable educational technology providers to connect with the right people within educational institutions who can assess the potential of each solution presented.
