In an interview with Conexão Bett, an expert discusses the use of digital games in education and presents the educational project “A Terra Não Minerável”

The application of digital games as a tool for knowledge in the education is the theme of the new episode of the Bett Connection with Francisco Tupy, who holds a master’s and a doctorate in the application of video games in education and communication from the University of São Paulo (USP) and is a professor of Digital Literacy. The expert explains the benefits, challenges, and impacts of gamification in education.

In addition, Tupy presents the educational project “A Terra Não Minerável” (The Non-Mineable Earth), a Minecraft map set in the Amazon Rainforest, where, instead of mining the ground, players learn to preserve the environment.
