The Transformative Educator Award, now in its 3rd edition, announces that registration is now open for teachers and educational administrators throughout Brazil. Organized by the Significare Institute, Bett Brasil, and Sebrae, this year’s award features significant innovations compared to previous editions and other awards in the field, positioning itself as a catalyst for the transformation of education through innovation and entrepreneurial education.

With the central theme “Education to Tackle Crises and Build Sustainable Futures, ” the Award seeks to mobilize and connect educators to co-create innovative projects that address contemporary challenges such as the climate crisis, mental health, human development, AI and digital technologies, equity and access, and active learning.

Focus on Innovation and Development

Unlike other awards that focus on completed projects, the 3rd edition of the Transformative Educator Award focuses on the idea and the project proposal. The initiative is intrinsically educational and participant-centered, offering a structured development journey on an innovative digital platform called Strateegia.

One of the key distinguishing features of this edition is theincorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)into the project improvement process. AI will assist participants by providing answers, evaluations, and feedback, serving as a practical tool to enrich discussions and analyze project development. The strategic use of AI reflects the Award’s vision of encouraging the critical adoption of new technologies in education.

The Award’s methodology adopts an approach inspired by Design Thinking, with stages such as Immersion, Ideation, Prototyping, and Development. Throughout these stages, educators are encouraged to test, refine, and improve their ideas, ensuring that the proposed solutions are viable and transformative within their teaching and learning contexts.

Co-creation, collaboration, and inclusivity

The 2025 Transformative Educator Award values co-creation and collaboration among participants. The professional development program on the digital platform features collaborative activities and interactions, fostering the exchange of experiences and the development of joint projects. The Award also stands out for broadening its target audience to include teachers and administrators from public and private schools and school systems at all levels and in all types of education, ranging from early childhood education to higher education and adult education (EJA).

Each candidate may submit only one application in one of the three categories/sessions: Pedagogical Innovation and Active Methodologies (teachers), Transformative Educational Management (administrators), or Inclusion and Sustainability in Education (teachers and administrators).

Projects that stand out in the national round will have the opportunity to win a package to attendBett UK in London, one of the world’s largest educational technology events. There will also be prizes for the top finishers in each state, such as packages to attend the Bett Brasil 2026 conference.
