The Transformative Educator Award, a joint initiative of Sebrae, Bett Brasil, and Instituto Significare, is accepting applications only through February 5, 2024. The national winners in each of the seven award categories will receive a comprehensive package to attend the largest educational innovation event in Latin America. Teachers who work at public or private schools may participate in the awards program at the following educational levels or in the following types of education: 

• Early Childhood Education;
• Elementary School – Early Grades (1st through 5th grade);
• Elementary School – Upper Grades (6th through 9th grade);
• Regular High School;
• Technical and Vocational Education;
• Higher Education;
• Youth and Adult Education (EJA).

Eligible projects must have been carried out between 2021 and 2023 by teachers affiliated with educational institutions and may take various forms, such as activities, studies, games, methodologies, courses, technologies, challenges, presentations, competitions, services, and products, among others. 

The winners are expected to be announced in late April 2024, during the 29th edition of Bett Brasil in São Paulo. The purpose of the awards is to recognize and highlight educational projects implemented by teachers throughout Brazil between 2021 and 2023. 

In this year's edition of the awards, participating projects will have the opportunity to compete at the state, regional, and national levels. The winners of the seven categories from Brazil's five regions will participate in Bett Brasil 2024.
