Transformative Educator Award Extends Application Deadline
Teachers from across the country now have until February 19 to share their transformative education practices at all levels of education

The Transformative Educator Award, jointly organized by Sebrae, Instituto Significare, and Bett Brasil, is currently accepting applications through February 19via the award’s websiteor the mobile app, available for free on Android and iOS.

Teachers from all over Brazil—from both public and private schools—who have developed projects with students in the following educational levels or programs are eligible to apply:

  • Early Childhood Education
  • Elementary School – Early Grades
  • Elementary School – Upper Grades
  • Regular High School
  • Vocational Education
  • Youth and Adult Education (EJA)
  • Higher Education

Extending the deadline for entries to the Award makes it possible to reach many teachers who are resuming their teaching activities during this period. The organizers of the Transformative Educator Award hope that extending the deadline will further encourage educators from all over Brazil to submit their practices, demonstrating that a good educator and a good education can transform people’s lives.

After the registration period, the projects will be evaluated by panels of educators at the state, regional, and national levels, with the winning teachers at each level being recognized and awarded. The winners of the national awards will be announced during Bett Brasil 2024, Latin America’s largest event for Innovation and Technology in Education, on April 24 at 3:00 p.m. at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo (SP).

The complete rules for the Award and other information can be found on the website: www.educadortransformador.com.br
