The Ministry of Education announced on Tuesday (4) the results of the first round of the University for All Program (Prouni). To check their results, applicants should visit the official Prouni page on the MEC website.

A total of 276,566 scholarships—215,530 full scholarships and 61,036 partial scholarships—were made available for undergraduate programs and sequential higher education programs in specific fields. Preselected candidates must verify the information provided in their applications between July 4 and 14. A second round of admissions will take place on July 24.

ProUni Requirements

Pre-selected candidates must demonstrate a gross monthly household income per person of up to 1.5 times the minimum wage to qualify for the full scholarship, which covers the entire monthly tuition fee for the program. For the partial scholarship, which covers 50% of the monthly tuition fee, the required monthly per capita income is up to three times the minimum wage.

To participate in Prouni, you must meet at least one of the following conditions:

- Have completed high school at a public school;

- Have completed high school at a private school as a full scholarship recipient;

- Have completed high school partly at a public school and partly at a private institution, as a full scholarship recipient;

- Have attended high school partly at a public school and partly at a private institution, either with a partial scholarship or without any scholarship;

- Have completed high school at a private school either with a partial scholarship from that institution or without a scholarship;

- Be a person with a disability, as defined by law; or

- To be a public school teacher, exclusively for bachelor’s degree and education programs designed to train teachers for basic education.
