A Bett Brazil, the organizer of the largest Innovation and Technology for Education event in Latin America, has entered into a partnership with the Union of Educational Institutions in the State of Pernambuco (Sinepe-PE), who will be the co-director of the Bett Northeast Conference. The educational event will take place on September 4 and 5 at the Recife Expo Center.

“Bett Brasil is, without a doubt, currently the largest forum in Brazil for discussion of all matters related to education. Being a partner of Bett Brasil ensures support for events organized in a consistent and professional manner, which builds credibility and fosters new opportunities for growth in the personal and professional lives of its participants,” says the José Ricardo Diniz, president of Sinepe-PE.

The union will play a leading role in supporting the organization, promotion, and coordination with schools in the region and key educational stakeholders in the Northeast region of the country to make the event a success. Diniz emphasizes that the partnership with Bett Brasil reinforces one of Sinepe-PE’s institutional goals, which is to work with private schools to promote an education in tune with contemporary society, helping to shape citizens who are critical, reflective, innovative, and proactive—while also being ethical and compassionate.

A Claudia Valério, Executive Director of Bett Brasil, highlights the importance of the partnership: “The support from Sinepe-PE, which is now a co-organizer of the Bett Nordeste Conference, adds even more value and strengthens our relationship with the educational community in Brazil’s Northeast region. The union plays a significant role in working with private schools in Pernambuco, contributing to the development of quality education,” says Claudia.

The Bett Nordeste Conference is aimed at educators, leaders, school operators, and administrators of public and private K-12 institutions. The 2024 edition of the event will feature a series of panel discussions centered on the following theme: “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Emotional Intelligence (EI) in Education: What Should We Learn?”. The event will also feature an exhibition area where stakeholders in the education sector will gather to provide services, products, and solutions for the educational ecosystem of the Northeast and Brazil.

The president of Sinepe-PE emphasizes that the Bett Nordeste Conference is an opportunity for educators and educational administrators to exchange experiences and for professional development on topics that are at the forefront of education worldwide. “We often attend a lecture or debate that inspires us to make changes to our teaching and operational practices in our daily school life,” he says.
