Adriano Canabarro Teixeira is a researcher, university professor, and public education administrator with a recognized track record in the fields of educational innovation, digital culture, and creative learning. He holds a Ph.D. in Education and has completed two postdoctoral fellowships; he is a full professor in stricto sensu graduate programs and the leader of the Research Group on Digital Culture in Education.

He currently serves as Municipal Secretary of Education in Passo Fundo (RS), where he coordinates the implementation of innovative public policies that integrate diagnostic assessment, digital literacy, maker spaces, computational thinking, and data-driven educational management. He leads the Passo Fundo “City of Education” Coordination Group, linking local educational policies to global agendas for human development and lifelong learning.

He is a recipient of a CNPq Productivity Fellowship in Technological Development and Innovative Extension and actively participates in leading national and international networks, such as the Innovation Network for Brazilian Education, the National Science Network for Education, and the Brazilian Creative Learning Network. He serves as the coordinator of the Passo Fundo chapter of the Brazilian Creative Learning Network.

His career spans academic research, public policy development, and educational practice, with a focus on developing educational models aligned with the demands of the contemporary world and the active involvement of students and teachers.
