Alex Sandro Gomes
Alex Sandro Gomes is a Full Professor at the Center for Computer Science (CIn) at UFPE (PPGCC CAPES 7). He is the coordinator of the professional graduate program offering master’s and doctoral degrees in Computer Science at UFPE. His work focuses on Information Technology in Education and Human-Computer Interaction, with an emphasis on the design of learning experiences and the development of technologies for social impact. He is a recipient of the CNPq Productivity Grant for Technological Development and Innovative Extension (DT-A). He has worked on technological innovation projects in collaboration with organizations and companies such as the National Justice Council (CNJ), the Ministry of Education, CAPES, the Telefônica Foundation, and the Ayrton Senna Institute, with a focus on improving processes and scaling education. He received the Tércio Pacitti Award from the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) for his work in advancing computer science education on a national level.
