Armando Junior
Deputy Secretary of Economic Development and Labor
Armando Junior has more than 15 years of experience in the areas of economic development, professional training, investment attraction, and entrepreneurship.
He specializes in project management and coordination, strategic planning, government relations, and communications. Armando holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Universidade Metodista, a graduate degree in Marketing and Advertising Communication from Faculdade Cásper Líbero, a certificate in Negotiation from FGV, and is currently pursuing an MBA in Management and Digital Transformation at USP.
With experience in both the public and private sectors, Armando Junior served in the State Government, where he directly advised Governors Geraldo Alckmin and Alberto Goldman. Since February 2021, he has served as Deputy Secretary of Economic Development and Labor for the City of São Paulo, with the mission of planning strategic initiatives for the sector to make the city even more innovative and attractive to entrepreneurs, creating jobs and providing training to improve people’s quality of life.
