Co-founder and Director of Institutional Affairs and Diversity at the Mural Agency for Journalism in the Peripheries, where she also served as editor and correspondent for Jardim Ângela, in the southern zone of São Paulo. She is the director of Jeduca (Association of Education Journalists), a board member of Ajor (Association of Digital Journalism), and co-founder of the collective “Nós, mulheres da periferia” (We, Women of the Peripheries). She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from UAM—Anhembi Morumbi University. She earned her master’s degree from the Graduate Program in Communication Sciences at the University of São Paulo (PPGCOM ECA/USP). She is a specialist in Communication and Media from Universidade Paulista. She is affiliated with AlterGen (Otherness, Subjectivities, Gender Studies, and Performances in Communications and the Arts, at ECA/USP) and with Diversidade at ECA/USP. She served as press secretary for the Marist Group’s School Network and Solidarity Network. She was a reporter for Ocas Magazine and a communications analyst at the Paulo Freire Institute.
