Claudia Costin is an educator and public policy expert with a distinguished career in Brazil and abroad. She served as Secretary of Education for Rio de Janeiro, Secretary of Culture for São Paulo, Minister of Administration and Reform, and Senior Director of Global Education at the World Bank. She has served as a visiting professor in the education schools at Harvard and Stanford Universities. She founded the Center for Educational Policy at FGV and the Salto Institute—designed to scale best practices in education. For years, Costin has been exploring the impact of technology, including artificial intelligence, on education. Her work bridges local and global perspectives, making her an essential voice in contemporary educational debates.
