Francine Kliemann is the Global Teacher Recruitment Coordinator at Take Action Global (TAG), an international nonprofit organization dedicated to climate education that has reached more than 26 million teachers and students on every continent. She is also the founder and director of Platô, a studio specializing in immersive learning experiences.
She works in Brazil and internationally as an immersive learning designer and educational strategist, at the intersection of education, art, creativity, and social impact.
She designs and coordinates educational programs that use art, play, and technology as learning tools, supporting schools in developing projects focused on student leadership, climate education, and civic engagement, in collaboration with schools, universities, NGOs, and global networks.
She is the creator of the award-winning climate education program “Escola do (Im)Possível” and the augmented reality game “O Farol do Ártico,” winner of the Unity for Humanity Award. She is an Ashoka Green Changemaker and a Salzburg Global Fellow.
