Jair Ribeiro is president of the Associação Parceiros da Educação and Casa do Saber S.A., a member of the management committee of the São Paulo State Department of Education, and a former member of the State Board of Education. An entrepreneur with a track record in the financial, technology, and education sectors, he was co-founder and CEO of Banco Patrimônio, which was later sold to JPMorgan, where he also served as Managing Director in New York. He led the technology company CPM Braxis—then one of the largest in the country in its sector—until its sale to Capgemini, and served as Co-CEO of Banco Indusval, as well as a shareholder and director of Sertrading. He holds a law degree from USP and a degree in economics from FAAP, as well as an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley. He was a visiting scholar at Stanford’s School of Education and a fellow at Harvard University’s Advanced Leadership Initiative, focusing on public education policy.
