She holds a master’s degree in Social Communication from ECA/USP; she is a journalist, an educommunicator, the author of more than 50 children’s and young adult books, a two-time winner of the Jabuti Award for Brazilian Literature, co-author of the book “How Not to Be Fooled by Fake News,” and author of “#XôFakeNews—A Story of Truths and Lies.” She is a member of the Brazilian Association of Researchers and Professionals in Educommunication (ABPEducom), the Journalism, Law, and Freedom group at USP, and Mil Alliance—UNESCO’s Global Alliance for Partnerships in Media and Information Literacy—and serves as a columnist for Nexo Jornal, writing about media education and literary education.
