José Aliperti is the co-founder and CEO of Astra Infraestrutura e Concessões Educacionais S.A., the first Brazilian social infrastructure company focused exclusively on education. With 10 years of experience in the financial market and 20 years working in education, he has built an entrepreneurial career in structuring, expanding, and managing businesses in the sector, including the founding of Escola Mais, a K-12 school network acquired by Bioma Educação in 2023. At the helm of Astra, he is leading the development of the largest national platform for school infrastructure public-private partnerships (PPPs), with involvement in some of the country’s major state and municipal concessions.
