She holds a Ph.D. and a master’s degree in Education from the University of São Paulo (USP) and has built her career in São Paulo’s public school system, working as a teacher, researcher, and educational advisor. Throughout her career, she has published several books and contributed to the development of educational policies in Brazil. She served as Secretary of Basic Education at the Ministry of Education and as a member of the National Education Council. Since 2019, she has been the executive director of Instituto Reúna. She currently also serves on the São Paulo State Board of Education and the Advisory Board of Bett Brasil.
