Leandro Prearo is the President of the Municipal University of São Caetano do Sul (USCS), a member of the São Paulo State Board of Education, and president of AIMES-SP for the 2025–2028 term. A researcher and professor in the fields of quantitative methods, applied statistics, econometrics, and multivariate analysis, he is the author of dozens of scientific articles in these areas and is involved in training master’s and doctoral students, in addition to supervising research at the stricto sensu level. He leads initiatives in innovation, regional development, and university-society integration, strengthening strategic partnerships with governments, companies, and national and international academic institutions. He is the author of studies and projects that link higher education, public policy, and sustainable development.
