Mariana Ochs is a designer, journalist, and specialist in digital culture in education. She is the education coordinator at EducaMídia, the media literacy program of the Palavra Aberta Institute, where she develops courses and educational materials. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Visual Communication and Journalism, a master’s degree in Digital Literacy from the University of Rhode Island, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Communication Sciences at USP, where she is researching algorithmic literacy in K-12 education. She is the co-author of the Media Education Guide and the ebook Media Education and Artificial Intelligence, among other publications and reference materials.
