He is an entrepreneur, founder of Verbum, president of the Alfa e Beto Institute, a member of the Board of Directors of SEB Alta Performance, and president of Abraspe (Brazilian Association of Educational Systems and Platforms). He also serves on the boards of several nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) dedicated to improving public education. He served as CEO of Abril Educação, Academic Director at Kroton and Estácio (YDUQS), and Director of Educational Platforms at the Santillana Group. He began his career teaching chemistry at Anglo Vestibulares.
