Patricia Auerbach
Patricia is an award-winning author of children’s and young adult literature and a teacher trainer. An architect and educator, she holds a specialization in Children’s and Young Adult Literature from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a master’s degree in Human Development and Education from Harvard University.
Her books are part of the UN SDG Reading Club and have received numerous awards, including the UNESCO Chair seal and the FNLIJ Award for best picture book.
Patricia is the founder of Redelê, a teacher-training program that offers reading clubs and discussion circles for educators, using an innovative methodology based on peer-mediated exchange to build practical knowledge focused on reading, the Portuguese language, and mathematics—always supported by cross-cutting and ubiquitous themes such as anti-racist education and inclusion.
