Rafael Parente, who holds a PhD in Education from NYU and is a postdoctoral researcher in AI in education, investigates the ethical and pedagogical impacts of this transformation on teacher education. As the first Brazilian featured speaker at SXSW EDU, he serves as Executive Director of Instituto Salto, combining his academic expertise with his experience in public policy (as former Secretary of Education for the Federal District) to drive educational innovations at scale. He is the co-author of books, including *O Professor Ampliado*, and a researcher at NEES / UFAL.
