Rafinha Acoustic
Musician and speaker
A native of Taubaté, Rafinha Acústico has gained a following throughout Brazil and is known for his thematic and reflective compositions that blend pop and MPB, as well as parodies and poems that always go viral on social media. Recently, the musician, songwriter, and psychologist released a DVD celebrating his 15 years in music, featuring Renato Teixeira, Fernando Anitelli, a conductor with an orchestra, a senior citizens’ choir, and other artists and friends. In 2016, Rafinha wrote a song for *Programa do Jô*, and was invited by the host himself to perform that song on his final episode on Globo. In 2019, his song “Um milhão de vezes” reached 36 million views—a song written in honor of his own mother and all mothers. Superstar Claudia Leitte subsequently recorded a cover of the song. Rafinha sings and enchants wherever he goes and performs, with lyrics that make us reflect on who we are and who we want to be.
