Wisley João Pereira
An educator by training and a manager by vocation, he holds a specialization in Public Education Management and a bachelor’s degree in Physics. He has built a career marked by a commitment to transforming Brazilian education, having worked for more than 15 years at the Goiás State Department of Education.
He played a decisive role in the implementation of key public policies as Superintendent of the Innovative High School Program and Chair of the Goiás State BNCC Committee. During that time, he led one of the country’s most significant educational turnarounds, propelling the state of Goiás from 16th to 1st place in the national IDEB rankings for high school education.
At the Ministry of Education, he assumed leadership of the General Coordination of Secondary Education and the Directorate of Basic Education, overseeing the approval of the Secondary Education Reform and the creation of programs that directly impacted the lives of millions of students, in partnership with CONSED.
Since 2019, at SESI Nacional, he has led strategic initiatives in education, contributing to the strengthening of Basic Education, Youth and Adult Education, the New High School Program, and Technology Education, always with a focus on innovation, equity, and the future of education.
He is currently the Superintendent of Education at SESI Nacional, where he continues to work to transform educational policies by leading the implementation of SESI Model Schools and educational robotics, creating real learning opportunities.
