The National Council of State and Federal District Secretaries of Education is an association founded in 1986 that brings together the state and Federal District departments of education.
Among its objectives are the integration of state education networks, the participation of the states in the development of national policies, and collaboration among the states.
Through the Learning Agenda, which every two years identifies the priority areas for its work, the council also organizes itself into Working Groups. In these groups, composed of managers and technical staff from the various networks, solutions are discussed and best practices are shared.
