Public Education - Free
Using the case of Pilar, Alagoas, this session presents how a municipality implemented a consistent model of bilingual education, with tangible results in the development of students and teachers. The paths to implementation—from policy decisions to classroom practice—will be discussed, and the findings of the research conducted by Prof. Dr. Gabriela Lotta will be presented. The event also marks the launch of the Manual for Implementing Bilingual Education in Public Schools, which provides guidelines for administrators interested in bringing the model to their school districts.
