LIFE PROJECT: Paths to a Life Worth Living. Clóvis de Barros, Speaker; DC Publishing and Citadel Publishing
There is a question that transcends time. Silent, persistent, inevitable: what makes a life worth living? It is not a technical question. It cannot be solved with a method, a spreadsheet, or well-organized goals. It is a question that unsettles us, and perhaps that is precisely why it has so often been set aside in educational settings. School taught us to calculate, to write, to interpret. But at some point, we need to ask ourselves: What are we interpreting? What are we calculating for? In the name of what meaning do we write? To speak of a Life Project, therefore, is to accept the discomfort of this question. It is to reject the idea that education boils down to preparing for the future, as if the future were a clear, predictable, stable destination. It is not.
