Amid discussions by the National Education Council on the use of Artificial Intelligence in schools, the 31st edition of Bett Brasil—Latin America’s largest event on Innovation and Technology in Education—will host the AI in Education Summit during the trade show on May 5–6 in São Paulo, SP. This exclusive space is dedicated to an in-depth discussion of the impacts, challenges, and possibilities of AI in the sector.

Co-curated by Bett Brasil and the educational AI platform AI4School—a platform by Conexia Educação—the Summit will feature an exclusive auditorium for 500 participants and will host national and international experts.

Among the confirmed speakers are: Gil Giardelli, founder of 5ERA, a pioneering company in innovation and digital transformation; Guilherme Cintra, director of Innovation and Technology at the Lemann Foundation; Giselle Santos, researcher and innovation manager; Mariana Ochs, education coordinator at Instituto Palavra Aberta; and Alessandra Borelli, an attorney specializing in digital law, data protection, and artificial intelligence.

“Artificial intelligence is already part of school life, but not yet in a structured and safe way. Our role is to responsibly bring this conversation to the center of the educational debate. It’s not just about using AI, but about raising a generation capable of understanding it, questioning it, and using it ethically, thoughtfully, and purposefully. The Summit was created precisely to broaden this dialogue and help schools navigate this new reality with confidence and a proactive approach,” notes Sandro Bonás, CEO of Conexia Educação, who will also be speaking at the event.

Each session will have a central theme. The first will be “AI and the New Landscape of Education, ” which will address topics such as data-driven decision-making and management, personalized learning supported by artificial intelligence, ethics, privacy, and the responsible use of data, as well as the role of educators in the age of automation. The second theme, “Strategies, Practices, and Possible Futures,” will feature discussions on the use of AI in pedagogical and administrative management, presenting solutions and real-world examples of its application in schools, teacher training for the digital world, and an analysis of international trends in educational AI.

The AI Summit is aimed at educators, administrators, and leaders of public and private educational institutions who are on the front lines of decision-making and pedagogical strategies involving the use of AI in their institutions.
