Given the importance of the debate on Brazilian higher education, Bett Brasil—Latin America’s largest event on Innovation and Technology in Education, which will take place May 5–8—has formed an unprecedented partnership with the Center for Business-School Integration (CIEE). The CIEE Ahead Forum – Higher Education aims to serve as a dedicated space for in-depth discussion of the challenges and opportunities in higher and vocational education.

“The CIEE Ahead Forum on Higher Education represents the definitive convergence of higher education and employability. This partnership places an essential question at the center of the debate: How can we turn a degree into a real opportunity?” says Rodrigo Dib, Institutional Superintendent at CIEE.

According to Adriana Martinelli, Director of Content at Bett Brasil, this is a call to rethink models for developing young talent. “We are at a pivotal moment for higher education in Brazil. As we delve deeper into the debate on quality, regulation, and employability, we are also challenged to rethink our role in shaping future generations,” she explains.

Three content areas

Under the central theme “Individual, Collective, and Artificial Intelligences: All Within Us, Right Now! When they interact, education is transformed, ” the event aims to explore three key areas in depth: aligning the curriculum with professional practice from the earliest years of undergraduate study; the strategic use of technology to enhance learning; and the integration of educational institutions, companies, and intermediary organizations into a more fluid and collaborative ecosystem.

In addition to these key areas, this year’s main topics include the impacts of regulatory changes, the expansion of hybrid and digital education, and the effects of new skills, technologies, and artificial intelligence on the job market.

The auditorium will host leading figures in the field, including Rodrigo Capelato, executive director of Semesp; Andréa Paiva, director of graduate studies at FIAP; Leandro Prearo, president of Cruzeiro do Sul University; Michelle Schneider, visiting professor at Singularity University; and Romero Tori, academic director at Univesp, among other experts.
