Bett Brasil Unveils New Advisory Board with Five Strategic Committees
A Bett Brasil, organizer Latin America’s largest education and technology conference has announced the new composition of its Advisory Board for the period from August 2022 to July 2024. The board is composed of renowned leaders, educators, and administrators from across the Brazilian educational ecosystem—professionals who are committed to and actively working toward building a quality and equitable education system.
The Bett Brasil Advisory Board is responsible for mentoring and guiding the educational proposals to be presented at Bett Brasil 2023, which will take place May 9–12 at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo.
The council’s work consists of analyzing and identifying new topics and discussions for the 2023 event’s program—focusing on the most relevant and significant issues in Brazil and around the world for the entire educational community participating in Bett Brasil—and disseminating these proposals to the public.
“Committee members contribute strategies and ideas, innovation, and enhanced experiences for our visitors and conference attendees. They are responsible for bringing important connections to the event for Bett Brasil and increasing the potential for collaboration with various sectors of education and society,” explains Adriana Martinelli, Director of Content at Bett Brasil .
In tune with the “spirit of our times,” the aspirations and the broader intellectual, cultural, and—above all—educational discourse of the world, Bett Brasil reaffirms its commitment to presenting proposals and potential solutions for Basic, Higher, and Vocational Education.
Accordingly, the new Advisory Council was divided into five key committees: the Strategic Policy Committee, the Basic Education Committee, the Higher Education Committee, the Vocational Education Committee, and the Governance Committee—the latter composed of leaders from UNDIME and CONSED.
Main Theme and Subthemes of Bett Brasil 2023
For the 28th edition of Bett Brasil, the Advisory Board has chosen “Education and Work for New Futures” as the central theme. To explore all the proposals and concepts related to education and work, the lectures, seminars, workshops, and courses will address subtopics such as curriculum, technology, assessment, teacher development, inclusion, and equity.
The 2023 event will feature an area dedicated to higher and vocational education, with an exhibition of products, solutions, and technology, as well as content on specific topics that will address hybrid learning, employability, innovation (in new teaching models), and initial training for educators.
