The use of technology to improve educational management; the results of internal and external assessments for learning-centered management; cultures of thinking and inquiry in schools; empathy in the classroom; and social-emotional skills for 21st-century educators. These are some of the topics that Bett Educar will present at the Regional Meeting in Curitiba (PR) on October 29 at the Pestana Curitiba Hotel—Rua Comendador Araújo, 499—Curitiba/PR. Renato Feder, Paraná’s State Secretary of Education, will be one of the event’s speakers. Space is limited. To register, visit: REGISTRATION.
The Curitiba Regional Conference is aimed at education professionals in the public and private sectors in Paraná. As Maria Alice Carraturi, content director at Bett Educar, explains, Brazil has geographic regions that are very different from one another, as well as specific characteristics in education. “So, we need to have a diverse discussion on the key issues affecting Brazilian and global education in other cities, introduce Bett Educar a little bit to educators in Curitiba and the surrounding region, and listen to and understand local realities.”
The event is sponsored by Escola da Inteligência, a program dedicated to developing intelligence, emotional health, and building healthy relationships among children, youth, teachers, and parents; Casa Thomas Jefferson, a binational center that promotes cultural exchange and is one of the leading institutions for English language instruction in Brasília; Colégio Bilíngue Brasil Canadá, whose teaching strategy emphasizes the English language as a fundamental element in academic activities; Programa Pleno, which develops social-emotional competencies and skills, integrating them with active learning methodologies, entrepreneurship, innovation, and maker culture; Telesapiens, a distance learning (EaD) platform offering methodologies and the SIEMT (a system 100% focused on high school education), and the Unite Group, which supports educational institutions and companies in addressing their key relationship challenges. Guia Escolas is supporting the event.
