BETT EDUCAR HOSTS REGIONAL MEETING IN SALVADOR (BA)
Bett Educar, a renowned international event held annually in São Paulo, will take place in Salvador (BA) on September 24 (Tuesday) for its Regional Meeting. The event will bring together education professionals from the public and private sectors, with the goal of taking key discussions about the new directions of Brazilian education and global trends in technology and innovation beyond São Paulo. In Salvador, the Regional Meeting will be held at the Quality São Salvador Hotel—R. Dr. José Peroba, 244—Stiep, Salvador, BA. Registration can be completed in advance on the Bett Educar website. The Salvador Regional Conference will feature presentations on today’s key educational topics, such as the teacher of 2030, computational thinking in schools, the implementation of educational pathways and distance learning, social-emotional skills for 21st-century educators, inclusion and diversity in schools, the new high school curriculum, personalized learning in practice and active methodologies, and educational management, among others.
“Brazil has geographic regions that are very different from one another, as well as unique characteristics in education. So, we need to engage in a diverse discussion of the key issues affecting Brazilian and global education in other cities, introduce educators in Salvador and the surrounding region to Bett Educar, and listen to and understand local realities,” explains Maria Alice Carraturi, director of content at Bett Educar.
The Salvador Regional Meeting will be sponsored by Escola da Inteligência, which runs a program to foster intelligence, emotional well-being, and the development of healthy relationships among children, youth, teachers, and parents. The event also has the support of the National Union of Municipal Education Directors ( Undime – BA chapter) and the Union of Educational Institutions of the State of Bahia (SINEPE – BA).
