The "Transformative Teacher Award" finals will bring together finalists from all over Brazil and will feature a 14-year-old DJ and activist
DJ Rivkah will be spinning records and sharing her vision for the future of education during the announcement of the Award’s final results on May 11 at Bett Brasil 2022 in São Paulo (SP)

The Transformative Teacher Award, organized in partnership by the Significare Institute and Bett Brasil with the goal of recognizing educators and promoting transformative projects implemented in K-12 education, will announce the final results of this second edition on May 11, starting at 3:30 p.m., during Bett Brasil 2022, considered the largest education and technology event in Latin America, which will take place May 10–13 at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo (SP).

In addition to the 12 finalist teachers (see full list below), the program will feature an international guest: DJ and activist Rivkah, who, at just 14 years old, is the youngest electronic music producer on the planet. She will DJ and share her insights on Transformative Education and the future of the planet.

For Professor Wellington Cruz, president of the Significare Institute, the final awards ceremony will be an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the finalists and all the educators who participated in this second edition of the Award, which took place during the still-challenging period of the pandemic. “Teachers across Brazil have been—and continue to be—true ‘warriors’ as they carry out their mission to educate during such an unusual and unique time. Reaching the finals of the Award in this context is the crowning achievement of this journey and, at the same time, an inspiration for more educators to showcase their Transformative Education projects in future editions of the Award.”
