A new year brings new challenges for the Brazilian education sector. With this in mind, Bett Educar will host its first free webinar of 2021 on January 29, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., featuring separate sessions for teachers and administrators. The guest speaker is psychologist and writer Rossandro Klinjey. Those interested can register by the 29th here.

The webinar will address issues relevant to the current state of Brazilian education, new directions for the education sector, and, in particular, the new challenges for the 2021 school year. Held in separate sessions, the online event will begin with a session for administrators, school operators, principals, and leaders, titled “The Role of the School Leader in the Return to Class,” starting at 2:30 p.m. In the second session, Klinjey will speak to teachers about “Self-Care for Educators in the 21st Century” at 4:30 p.m.

“The return to school is approaching, and it’s important to understand the approaches that can help schools, educational institutions, and everyone who is part of the school environment. In 2020, we faced difficult times and pressures from the very beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic,” notes the writer and psychologist. “Now, the 2021 school year will bring new challenges, and everyone needs to be better prepared for them. Administrators and teachers will face different demands once classes resume, such as hybrid learning—a model that will remain in place for some time, combining online and in-person classes,” adds Rossandro Klinjey.
