Codifica, a pioneer in the technology education sector, is transforming the educational landscape in Porto Alegre and throughout Brazil. Approved by the ICM, Ápice, and Maple Bear school networks and through partnerships with schools such as Colégio Farroupilha, SENAC-RS, and Colégio João Paulo I, Codifica offers an educational program that includes a proprietary database with learning paths covering all areas of technology, along with teacher training. These initiatives prepare students—from early childhood education through vocational training—for the demands of the market and the digital world. “We provide a platform with teaching materials for educators and training for classroom application, helping to structure instruction with learning pathways that make the most of the available resources,” explains Codifica’s general director, Guilherme Fortes. The director also highlights the company’s comprehensive scope of work: “We are 100% open to working on any front in society to prepare people for an increasingly technological reality.” Mandatory Computer Science Education The State Government of Rio Grande do Sul published in the Official Gazette on March 12 of this year that computer science in basic education is mandatory for all state public schools and private schools affiliated with the state system. The document stipulates that implementation must follow the BNCC Computer Science curriculum, including instruction in Computational Thinking, the Digital World, and Digital Culture. This measure emphasizes the need to prepare students for an increasingly digitized world. Participation in Bett Brasil At Bett Brasil, the country’s largest education and technology event, Codifica will showcase its unique educational program. The company’s booth will feature an exhibition of activities from students’ progressive learning paths, ranging from maker culture and robotics to app programming. This space will also be dedicated to answering questions and presenting Codifica’s innovative projects. “At Bett, we’ll be putting together an exhibition of Codifica’s learning paths, showcasing our students’ progress,” explains educator and marketing analyst Kátia Vielitz. Impact and Expansion With a mission to transform education through technology, Codifica plans to reach an additional 10,000 students by 2025. The company also participates in impact projects in partnership with the government, businesses, and social institutions.
