A APONTI (the largest association of Information and Communication Technology companies in the Northeast) is participating in the Bett Nordeste 2026 conference on August 19 and 20 at the Recife Expo Center. The organization will be present as a coordinator of Pernambuco’s educational technology ecosystem, bringing together at least nine companies that will showcase solutions, products, services, and innovations geared toward educational institutions.

This presence builds on an initiative that began in 2025, when the then-Softex Pernambuco launched the state’s first EdTech Committee. Today, as part of APONTI, the committee has established itself as a platform for connecting startups specializing in education, public and private school systems, administrators, and other stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem. The initiative raises the sector’s profile and positions the association as a leader in providing logistical support, facilitating partnerships, and creating opportunities for educational technology companies.

Among the participants at Bett Nordeste are: Escribo, which has developed an ecosystem focused on literacy starting in early childhood education. The solution combines curriculum, teaching materials, technology, educator training, and data analysis, helping state departments of education translate scientific evidence into practical actions and accelerate the development of essential reading skills.

Pernambuco-based Mexx will present its Integrated Service Center, an omnichannel customer service solution that centralizes and automates internal and external communication for educational institutions. Using artificial intelligence, the platform aims to streamline interactions between schools, students, parents, and administrative staff.

Cognvox, a technology company focused on inclusive education, is part of the group. The initiative uses artificial intelligence and data analysis to identify, on an individual basis, how neurodivergent students learn, contributing to educational interventions that are more precise, more human-centered, and tailored to each student’s unique needs.

The Verbus Institute, which develops solutions for digital education, technological inclusion, and digital citizenship, is also participating in Bett Nordeste. The institution uses artificial intelligence, rigorous pedagogical standards, and accessible technology to assess and certify digital skills. Its mission is to prepare individuals and organizations for the challenges of technological transformation in the workplace and in education.

Atesteme, on the other hand, is a SaaS platform created by the Verbus Institute to promote inclusion, literacy, and digital education. The solution performs an automated assessment of each user’s digital maturity, identifying gaps in up to 16 competencies. Using artificial intelligence, the platform recommends personalized content and learning paths.

Under the theme “Intelligence in Action: Experiences That Transform Education,” the Bett Nordeste Conference will bring together government representatives, administrators, teachers, and experts to discuss innovation, basic education, school administration, and artificial intelligence. The program features more than 60 speakers and 25 hours of content, distributed among the Plenary Hall, the Aquarium, and the Public Education Auditorium.
