Looking to the Future: A Pioneer in Educational Technology, Microkids Launches a Collection on Racial Equity and Unveils a New Mascot at Bett Brasil 2026
From May 5 to 8, Expo Center Norte will be the epicenter of discussions on the future of education during Bett Brasil 2026. Now in its 31st edition, Espírito Santo-based company Microkids—which is celebrating 30 years of pioneering work in the market with a booth transformed into a true arena of knowledge, connecting administrators and educators to the most pressing trends of the digital age—reaffirms its historic position as the first company in Brazil to launch a technology education collection in the country.
With more than 3 million students reached and a presence in 20 states, Microkids offers solutions that combine tradition and innovation, and is the only educational technology fully approved by the Ministry of Education (MEC) for all levels of basic education, with materials 100% aligned with the BNCC Computing standards. For founder Emerson Camargo, Bett is the moment to bring the science behind the technology to life. “Our participation goes beyond technology; we present solutions that encourage decision-making, scientific thinking, and citizenship, preparing students to be global citizens who are aware of their duties and their social contribution,” he emphasizes.
Emotional Connection: Get to Know MIK
One of the major highlights that the public will be able to experience firsthand at the event is the launch of MIK, Microkids’ new official spokesperson. Created to establish a playful, emotional connection between the brand and its audience, MIK helps the company stand out across various platforms. The mascot embodies Microkids’ values, making communication more fun and accessible for students and educators, and reinforcing the company’s identity in an innovative way during the fair.
Knowledge Arena: Big Names at the MK Booth
One of the highlights of the program will be a lecture by Professor José Moran, one of Brazil’s leading experts on active learning methodologies, who will discuss “Teaching, Management, and Artificial Intelligence.” The booth will also feature expert Juliano Kimura, who will discuss human skills in the age of AI, as well as speakers such as Carolina Cavalcanti (Inov-ativas Methodologies) and Daniellen Zwierzynski (Who Will Rewrite Brazilian Education?).
Hands-On Learning and Maker Innovation
In addition to the talks, the booth will feature a daily Maker Workshop, where visitors can get hands-on experience with paper circuits. Microkids, approved by the MEC and 100% aligned with the BNCC Computing standards, will be presented as a comprehensive solution for public and private school systems seeking innovation with a pedagogical focus. Participation in Bett Brasil 2026 reaffirms the Espírito Santo-based brand’s commitment to leading the transition toward media and technology education that prepares students for the challenges of the 21st century.
Putting Guidelines into Practice: The Roots of Knowledge Collection
This year’s launch is the “Raízes do Saber” Collection, a comprehensive educational solution for implementing Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations (ERER). Aligned with the PNEERQ, the National Curriculum Guidelines for ERER, and the VAAR/FUNDEB requirements, the collection provides the exact support needed to ensure that this work is carried out with clarity and continuity. The materials are fully accessible (e-book, audio description, and translation into Brazilian Sign Language) and include rigorous teacher training.
For Lisalba Camargo, founder and author of Microkids, the goal is to turn guidelines into real-world practice. “We want to show that digital citizenship and computational thinking are paths toward a more equitable and humane school. The Raízes do Saber Collection translates the ERER guidelines into a practical and consistent school routine, ensuring that the teaching of ethnic and racial relations is explored in depth throughout the entire school year, moving beyond one-off approaches.”
