Christian education gains prominence at the Bett Nordeste Conference with initiatives to train leaders and strengthen schools
Education is undergoing one of the most transformative periods in its history. The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, changes in social relationships, challenges related to students’ emotional well-being, and the need to prepare children and young people for an increasingly complex world have led schools across the country to rethink their practices, institutional culture, and mission.
In this context, the ACSI Brazil (Association of Christian Schools International) is participating inthe Bett Nordeste Conference, held on August 19 and 20 at the Recife Expo Center, presenting solutions aimed at strengthening Christian education and supporting the development of schools that seek to combine academic excellence, character development, and educational leadership.
With a presence in more than 100 countries, ACSI is the largest international association dedicated to the development of Christian schools, offering training programs for educators, institutional development, international accreditation, consulting services, the production of educational resources, and a broad network of collaboration among schools and educational leaders.
During the Bett Nordeste Conference, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about initiatives that support administrators, coordinators, and teachers in creating learning environments capable of addressing contemporary challenges without losing sight of the enduring principles that underpin a religious education of excellence.
Among the highlights presented are continuing education programs for educators, courses focused on school leadership, resources for establishing and strengthening Christian schools, institutional development tools, and opportunities to engage with an international community committed to quality education.
Another key topic will be the impact of artificial intelligence on education. Rather than viewing technology merely as a set of tools, ACSI proposes a broader reflection on the role of schools in the development of the whole person.
The growth of smart technologies expands the possibilities for personalizing learning, optimizing administrative processes, and producing educational resources. At the same time, it reinforces the need to develop skills that remain essentially human, such as virtues, wisdom, discernment, creativity, responsibility, empathy, leadership, and the ability to make principled decisions.
For ACSI Brazil, the future of education depends on a balanced integration of technological innovation and character development. This perspective assumes that academic excellence must go hand in hand with students’ intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual development.
Participation in the Bett Nordeste Conference also provides an opportunity to engage with schools that wish to strengthen their institutional identity in an increasingly challenging educational landscape. Issues related to school culture, people management, teacher development, family engagement, and the creation of coherent educational programs are among the topics discussed by the association during the event.
In addition to presenting its programs and services, ACSI Brasil seeks to broaden the discussion on the role of religious schools in Brazilian education. In recent decades, this sector has shown consistent growth and attracted the interest of families seeking institutions committed to both academic excellence and the ethical education and holistic development of their children.
The association's proposal is based on the understanding that education means preparing people to understand reality, exercise leadership responsibly, serve society, and contribute to the common good.
According to the ACSI Brazil team, events such as the Bett Nordeste Conference foster dialogue among different educational perspectives and expand opportunities for cooperation among institutions committed to innovation, educational quality, and human development.
During the two-day event, school administrators, school operators, teachers, instructional coordinators, and other education professionals will have the opportunity to learn about the projects developed by the association, ask questions about training programs, and connect with an international network dedicated to strengthening Christian education.
ACSI Brazil’s presence reaffirms its commitment to contributing to an education that prepares students for the challenges of the 21st century without compromising the biblical truths that have endured across generations. In an era marked by rapid technological change, the association maintains that true educational progress occurs when knowledge, character, leadership, and purpose go hand in hand.
